Depending on the space available: straight felling, or dismantling section by section with lowering ropes, so nothing around is damaged (roof, fence, flower beds, vehicles).

What happens to the timber and the stump?
As you prefer: branches chipped on site, taken away, or timber left on site, cut into logs. The stump can be removed too.

Frequently asked questions about tree felling
Can you fell a tree close to a house or a power line?
Yes. In tight spaces we use sectional felling: the tree is taken down piece by piece, each section held and lowered gently. It is the right technique near homes, cables and fences.
What happens to the branches and the cut timber?
It is up to you: chipping on site, removal, or timber left on site, cut into logs for your fire. This is set out in the quote.
Do I need permission to fell a tree?
In some cases in France (protected tree, protected area, local planning rules), yes. We help you check this with your town hall before the job.
